In April 2025, Maggie joined the Hope Ignites Colorado Team as a Program Manager at our Aurora Central High School Academy Program site.
What is a fun fact you can share about yourself?
I have lived in six different countries! When I was young my family travelled for my dad’s job in Germany, Switzerland, and Sweden. As an adult, I have taken advantage of study and work abroad opportunities in France, Thailand, and India.
If you could share one piece of advice with scholars, what would it be?
Your journey WILL look different from the person standing next to you. Try your best not to make comparisons. You might get off track, you might take loopy paths, you might have to retrace your steps. What matters is that you keep your eyes on your goal and take it day by day, step by step.
What do you hope to achieve with the scholars?
My greatest hope with this work is to witness scholars realizing their dreams and reaching their highest potential! Any small role I can play in that is such a privilege!
